The SportsMan and CrioYa Re-connect.

We enjoyed a book signing with the SPORTSMAN, Dhani Jones. A man passionate about travel and cross cultural connection. As well as sports! It was a joy to listen to him talk about the importance of getting off the coach and doing something that scares you, everyday! He spoke about the need to explore the world around us, experiencing it with our own eyes, ears and forming our own opinions. This was a special day because I was able to reconnect with a fellow, UM alum, friend and most importantly, a kindred traveller. It is one of my favorite things in the world, to connect with people who are passionate and adventurous enough to travel the world.

It is even more amazing for me to meet up with people who truly understand the transformative power of traveling of journeying. Meeting people who are aware of the great opportunity we have to travel and learn. Dhani is an inspiration to me because of the way he uses his gift to inspire others. I learned that this dream of CrioYa Global Movement, is real, there is a huge need for me to plant my feet and show the world what I stand for, as his coach Carr from michigan once told him. It reaffirmed my belief that in order to create a more peaceful planet, more people from the US need travel and connect with more people around the world, so that we can see, feel, hear, taste and savor our interconnectedness. I was challenged to set my goals, higher, to set my goals so high so that I am forced to work so hard to reach them. That the vision for CrioYa is so much larger than me, that it is absolutely essential for more and more people to transcend borders, build bridges and connect to our passions, one another, and mother earth!
